Technology Resource Center

Industries are continuously challenged to reduce production costs, increase productivity, improve product quality, and comply with environmental concerns.  To address these issues, some industries may need to modify current manufacturing processes or adopt completely new technologies.  Some will need to change their business practices.  Before making final decisions, industries need to be aware of their options and able to predict the performance of those options.

To meet these challenges, the Technology Resource Center (TRC) was established by Ameren as a collaboration between Ameren, the previous School of Polytechnic Studies and Missouri Enterprise (a not-for-profit business assistance center partnered with the University of Missouri-Rolla). Today, the Center operates independently and works with Industry to create customized training opportunities and provide other outreach. It is housed with the Department of Engineering & Technology.
