Intensive English Programs

In-Person or Online Intensive English Programs

Our high-quality IEP programs are now offered both in-person and online.  For students on campus in beautiful Cape Girardeau, we offer the CEA-accredited Premier Immersion English Language program.  For those who are interested in studying English online, we offer the same high quality instruction online.  Students in the online program can enrolled as a full-time or part-time student, and the course schedules are flexible so that students can participate no matter which time zone they live in.  Please see the table below for more information on how our Premier Immersion English Language Program differs from the online programs.

The Intensive English Programs support the internationalization goals of Southeast Missouri State University by preparing English language learners for success in undergraduate or graduate study through high-quality instruction in the English language and cultural orientation activities. The Intensive English Programs emphasize the linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed at an American university.
