The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors granted post-professorial merit to 11 faculty members and promoted five faculty members to the rank of professor and 13 to the rank of associate professor with tenure. In addition, eight faculty members received non-tenure track merit.
The action came during a closed session meeting of the Board and was based on reviews by appropriate review bodies. All merit, promotion and tenure designations are effective with the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Faculty members promoted to the rank of professor in their designated department are:
- Shannon Clapsaddle – Department of Leadership, Middle, and Secondary Education
- Amber Cook – The Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance
- Sandra Cox – Department of English
- Barbara Lamont – Department of Music
- Rasheduzzaman – Department of Engineering and Technology
Faculty members promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure in their designated department are:
