Perimeter parking is located in parking lots on the perimeter of campus. Perimeter parking is available to commuter students with 29 or less completed hours; to students who applied for, but were not selected in the preferred parking lottery; and to students who choose it. Perimeter lots are valid for any permit type and should be used when other parking lots are full.
Perimeter parking lots are served by a shuttle Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Perimeter lots are also served seven days a week by an evening shuttle making regular stops between the hours of 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Perimeter parking is sold in the Fall semester at a cost of $140.00 and will remain valid for the academic year. Perimeter parking issued during the Spring semester is sold at a reduced fee of $105.00 and is valid for the Spring and Summer semesters. Summer permits are issued at a cost of $79.
Perimeter Commuter Students will park in the two surface parking lots south of the parking deck in parking area 5-1. These lots will be reserved for any commuter between hours of 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Vehicles displaying perimeter parking permits must use perimeter parking lots between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Preferred commuter lots may be used between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. Employee lots at academic buildings may be used between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. Parking in employee lots located near residence halls is prohibited.
Perimter parking lot 5-1 (Pig Lot) is located on the North side of campus behind the Show Me Center. Areas 1-2, 1-4, and 1-7 (Corner of Broadway and Pacific) are located on the south side of campus
Perimeter Residents Students may park in the lower level of the parking garage in parking lot 5-1, parking lot 1-7 on the corner of Broadway and Pacific or parking lot 1-6 on the corner of Broadway and Park streets.
