I have 43+ years in education - 28.5 years teaching 6-8 mathematics in a rural school district and 15 years as a Consultant for the Southeast Regional Professional Development Center. I have also been actively involved in professional organizations including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, and National Science Teachers Association which have given me opportunities to network and learn from other professionals at a national level.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my five grandchildren and staying active by running, biking, and hiking.
