Southeast Missouri State University offers a wide variety of study abroad opportunities for students from all majors and interests in more than 35 countries. Opportunities range from two- to three-week short study tours to semester and academic year-long programs. In addition, we offer internship and student teaching opportunities overseas.
Our job is to help students realize their dream to study and work abroad, and to do that we offer academic programs which successfully combine students’ intellectual development with practical experience in life and work. Faculty and administration at Southeast are very serious about the important link between theory and practice. We work hard to create programs that respond to the needs of students, as they prepare themselves to make the transition from classroom to career in the new global community.
This program is administered by Southeast and taught by a Southeast professor who travels with Southeast’s students. This study abroad option is usually one or two weeks long but can also last up to a month.
This program uses an established relationship or agreement through Southeast that exchanges students with another designated college or university. Costs are equal to Southeast tuition and fees. Duration of these are typically a semester or academic year.
If you can’t find a Southeast program of your interest or major, we offer study abroad programs through affiliated study abroad partners.
