The Southeast Missouri State University Shuttle Service was established in 1993 In operates in part with a grant from the federal transit Administration and Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority, as well as assistant from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Service is provided daily during the fall and spring semesters, bringing students from perimeter commuter lots to the interior of campus and to the River campus.

Southeast Missouri State University transit service operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national Origin In accordance with the title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

  1. Southeast Missouri State University Code of Student Conduct applies to transit service passengers. (view at semo.edu/pdf/stuconduct-code-conduct.pdf)
  2. the driver will give direction should an emergency occur.
  3. Passengers should remain seated while the bus is in motion.
  4. Arms and legs should be kept in the bus.
  5. Objects should never be thrown at or from the bus.
  6. Wait for a bus in a safe place, off the road, clear of traffic, and at designated bus stops.
  7. trash receptacles are located at the front of the bus.
  8. Aisles should remain clear and the seats available for passengers.
  9. Emergency exits are to be used only in the on the direction of driver.
  10. Transit buses are smoke free.
  11. During Covid pandemic special procedures set forth by The University must be followed

Medial equipment and service animals are permitted on this service.

Items left on shuttle buses will be turned in to DPS.
