Personal Enrichment: Arts & Crafts, Hobbies, Cooking, Expression, Health & Well-Being, Language and Tours. There are courses in Cape Girardeau, Kennett and Malden.

Professional Development: A variety of categories including, business, counseling, management, emergency services, law enforcement, technology and more!

Youth Programs: Continuing Education offers Saturday youth workshops throughout the year and a summer youth program called Horizons.

Online Certificate Programs: Self-paced and entirely online, certificate programs offer valuable workplace training and skills. Courses include healthcare, business, legal, technology and real estate.

Online Workshops: We offer a variety of workshops online through our partner Ed2Go. Courses include professional development and personal enrichment in a variety of categories!

Computer Training: Computer training when and where you want it. Courses offered in partnership with Element K include, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage, and much more! Computer training is also offered periodically on campus in Cape Girardeau, Kennett and Malden.

Test Prep Courses: learn more about opportunities to prepare for the ACT, GRE, LSAT and GMAT through Continuing Education at Southeast.

Special Events

Training and Development: Workshops and special events for the Faculty and Staff of Southeast Missouri State University.

Southeast Explorer: A 38-foot long mobile teaching and learning center brings the Southeast Missouri Regional Museum to potentially every student in the University’s 25-county service area.

MEDFELS: MEDFELS (Meth Education for Elementary Schools) was developed in conjunction with a grant to develop and implement a drug education program that assists third and fourth grade teachers in presenting an accurate portrayal of the dangers associated with the manufacture, distribution and use of methamphetamine.
