Philanthropists, Entrepreneurs & Extraordinary Ladies of Southeast
are invited to this unique event to empower, transform, and connect with their next generation of colleagues.

Empower

University President Dr. Kenneth W. Dobbins will highlight the impact women have had at Southeast Missouri State University and showcase how today’s students are empowered to be tomorrow’s leaders.

Transform

Southeast Alumnus, board certified wound specialist, dermatology advanced practice nurse professional, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Cynthia Fleck, will share an inspiring message about the potential women have to create change and the transformations that occur in the process.

Connect

Vicki Boren, President of the Southeast Missouri State University Alumni Association will present the Power of Women Scholarship Awards.

The Power of Women luncheon will allow your business or services to be showcased to leaders of the community, Southeast Missouri State University alumni and supporters, business owners, and students.

Speaker Bio

Cynthia Ann Fleck, RN, BSN, MBA, APN/CNS, ET/WOCN, CWS, CFCN, DNC is a board certified wound specialist and dermatology advanced practice nurse who has presented over 500 seminars and programs throughout the world. She has written over 250 articles and chapters for various peer reviewed and clinical publications. In addition, she writes for numerous industry publications and journals as well as serving on several editorial advisory boards. She serves as Past President and Chairman of the Board of the American Board of Wound Management, Past two-term Director of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, Diplomat of the American Professional Wound Care Association, where she serves of the Medical Advisory Board, Member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists, Scientific Co-Chair of the Desert Foot Conference, Editor of PRESENT Wounds, President of Cynthia Fleck & Associates, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri, providing sales, marketing, training and education, clinical and legal expert witness review and testimony consultation and Vice President, Clinical Sales and Marketing for Vomaris Innovations, Inc., in Phoenix, Arizona. Cynthia has lead professional medical, surgical and biotech sales, marketing and clinical business endeavors for over a decade. She is dedicated to inspiring others and passionate about music, dance, theater, volunteer work, spending quality time with her Mother Judith, friends, and her dog, black Standard Poodle, Lily.

She is 1987 Southeast graduate in nursing.
