This program enables you to complete a Master of Natural Science degree in Mathematics in two years or less. The study plan would include seven mathematics courses, a course in teaching at the university level, two elective courses, and a thesis (or an additional course with a graduate paper and comprehensive examinations). You will select the specific courses in consultation with your master’s degree committee.

Responsibility
Teach/Assist in Beginning & Intermediate Algebra (MA101/MA102) or assist in Mathematics Learning Center during Fall and Spring semesters. The Graduate Teaching Assistant Supervisor in the Mathematics Department will assist you with these duties.
Compensation
A stipend of $7600 plus tuition for nine hours of graduate studies Fall and Spring semesters and 6 hours of graduate studies in the Summer semester.
