Southeast MBA Student Earns Position at Procter and Gamble
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Sept. 11, 2006 – Nicole Rodriguez of Washington, Mo., has earned a full-time position with Procter & Gamble after completing a successful summer internship at the Cape Girardeau Procter & Gamble.
During the summer, Rodriguez was employed by Procter & Gamble in Customer Business Development. She was part of a team that sold to Wal-Mart in Fayetteville, Ark.. Rodriguez says she was responsible for a specific product category and sold directly to Wal-Mart buyers.
Rodriguez plans to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in December with a master’s degree in business administration. During her time at Southeast, Rodriguez had many opportunities to work with professionals in the business world serving as an intern with the Southeast Missouri University Foundation last spring.
“My MBA classes have really prepared me for the type of issues you find in the real business world,” she said. “I was also able to intern with the Southeast Missouri University Foundation last semester, which gave me great experience in presenting to executive businessmen and women.”
Upon graduation, Rodriguez says will be employed as a customer business development account manager for Procter & Gamble and relocate to either Boston or Las Angeles.
