The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program seeks to increase the number of low-income, first-generation and underrepresented college students who pursue and complete their graduate and doctoral degree. 

Mission

The mission of the McNair Scholars Program is to encourage academically promising students to complete their baccalaureate degrees, and to pursue graduate education. The program provides academic support, enhancement workshops, faculty mentoring, a summer research experience, and preparation for graduate school for eligible students during their sophomore, junior and/or senior years.
