Who can participate in Intramural Sports?
All currently enrolled students with valid Redhawks ID Cards and Faculty & Staff, Alumni, Community Members and Spouses who have purchased a Recreation Services membership are eligible to participate in the Intramural Sports Program.
How do I register my team?
Registration is now online for intramural sports. Visit www.imleagues.com/schools/semo to sign up your team or to register as a free agent.
What if I do not have enough people to form a full team or I do not have a team to play on?
Any individual that would like to participate but does not have a team may put their name on the Free Agent List located online at www.imleagues.com/schools/semo. Free agents are also encouraged to attend the Manager’s Meeting as another means of finding a team. The Intramural Sports Program does not place individuals on a team but will assist them in finding a team. There is no charge to be placed on the Free Agent List.
What is the difference between the Red and Black leagues?
The Black league is for more advanced teams while the Red league is more recreational in nature.
When do I have to submit my final roster?
Additions may be made to the roster until the final day of the regular season for leagues and through the end of the semifinal games of tournaments.
What if my team can’t play at the time we’re scheduled?
If a team is unable to participate in a scheduled game, a request to reschedule may be made. In order to reschedule a game, the Team Manager must make a request to reschedule at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled game. Rescheduling requests can be made in the Intramural Sports office. Both Managers will be contacted with possible rescheduling times. If the game cannot be rescheduled or the rescheduling request is not made in time, the team that is unable to play may request a default.
How will I know if my team is eligible for the playoffs?
In order to qualify for the playoffs teams must have attended the Manager’s Meeting, not have a forfeit or two defaults, have the minimum number of players needed, a 1.75 sportsmanship rating or higher, and have never received an "Unsatisfactory" Sportsmanship Rating or if so, have been approved for future participation by the Coordinator of Intramural Sports.
