The International Village was acquired by the University in September 2017. After an extensive renovation, the International Village will become one of the latest residential areas open for Southeast students. The International Village is comprised of five cottages and one administrative building, housing the office of International Education Services and the Intensive English Program. The cottages operated by the Office of Residence Life serve as themed housing for students interested in living with students from various cultures around the world.
The International Village is the smallest residential area on campus, housing 18 students in two cottages, making it a unique living experience. Each cottage is a fully air-conditioned one-story building, with the first floor consisting of a community kitchen, laundry room, and TV lounge. Each community-style cottage houses nine students in single occupancy rooms.
