Regular Rate: $9.95 for the first book, $3.95 for each additional book per order/shipment

Regional Campus Pick-Up
Book requests being sent to a regional campus for pick up will be free of shipping charges.
Textbooks may be requested as soon as your registration is finalized, but books will NOT ship until the week before classes begin. Please request your books as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery before classes begin and assignments are due. Orders received before 12 pm will be shipped the same day, while later orders will be shipped no later than the end of the next day.
Undergraduate students enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University can rent the majority of their textbooks for the courses they are enrolled in. The rental fee is $25.94 per course, for the duration of the semester. All rental books must be returned in satisfactory condition on or before the Monday following finals week.
Graduate students can rent a rental textbook if they are enrolled in (100-599) level courses and/or cross listed 400/600 level courses. The rental fee is $25.94 for the duration of the semester. All rental books must be returned in satisfactory condition on or before the Monday following finals week. All other books and materials are available at the Southeast Bookstore or at www.semoshop.com
You may use this link Textbook Rental Book Lookup to look up your course number to see if we have a rental textbook for that class, and within that page, there is a link to the bookstore, to see if the course will require a purchase book.
All rental books must be returned or postmarked NO LATER than 4pm the Monday after
finals to avoid any additional charges. Books returned or received the Tuesday through
Friday after the due date will be billed a $25.00 late fee per book instead of the
replacement cost of the book and the original rental fee will not be credited. Rental
Textbooks returned anytime thereafter will be charged the full replacement cost of
the textbook and the original rental fee will not be credited. All textbooks must
be returned in satisfactory condition, books not in rentable condition are not returnable.
Textbooks returned in unsatisfactory condition will not be accepted and the student
will be charged the replacement costs of the book. Students may file an appeal regarding
textbook charges within one year from the date of the charges. In the event that the University is closed for scheduled holidays, books should be
shipped to us on or before that last eligible day to receive a late fee (see main
page for exact date).
After reading the terms of this rental agreement and my completion of the rental transaction signifies my agreement of its terms.
