Alyssa Bolden received her Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Florida State University under the direction of Designer Colleen Muscha and her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Vermont where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has taught previously as the Associate Professor of Costume Design at California State University Stanislaus in Turlock California. Her professional experience includes work at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Heritage Repertory Theatre, Chautauqua Opera, Vermont Stage Company and the Berkshire Theatre Festival.
Some of her design credits include the 2008-current Bristol Renaissance Faire seasons, including designs for street characters, townsfolk, jesters, Fantastikals and many others, a dark Victorian/Steampunk version of A Christmas Carol (CSU Stanislaus), The Philadelphia Story(FSU), Urinetown (FSU), Marat Sade (FSU) and Metamorphoses (UVM).
Alyssa enjoys hiking and yoga, is an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and an even bigger fan of her husband, Chris, and new baby boy, Michael.
