In-State Tuition for Active Duty Military, Veterans, Spouses and Dependents
Southeast Missouri State University is pleased to announce an in-state incidental fee rate for all non-Missouri residents who are active duty military or veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces including members of the National Guard or Reserves, their spouses and dependents.

Southeast's VA Certification is Now Online
Southeast's VA Certification Request Form is now available through the student portal. Starting with the spring 2014 semester, you will be able to submit your certification request electronically, review the information that you submitted, and even view when the certification has been submitted to the VA through the portal. If you have already submitted your paper request form for the upcoming semester, you do not need to re-submit this information. Paper forms are still being accepted during this transitional period. Please note that with the new online request form you will not be able to submit a certification request until the day after you have enrolled in a new semester. Please click here for instructions on how to certify in the portal or follow the directions below.
- Log on to the Student Portal and click the “Students”tab
- Click on “Click here to open My Southeast Self-Service”
- Click on the link below “My Southeast Self-Service”
- Choose “Southeast Student Processes”
- Choose “VA Certification Request”
- Click on the button marked “VA Certification Request”
- Click on the button marked “Fill Out Form” next to the semester you wished to be certified for
