The Jane Stephens Honors Program can be your home away from home. You can get involved on campus and participate in events organized by the Student Honors Council.

The Jane Stephens Honors Program offers numerous benefits for you as an international student. It is designed to let you explore the world of honors classes and get to know other remarkable students. 

Students who complete the Jane Stephens Honors Program requirements will be: 

  • Designated as an Honors Scholar. 
  • Receive a medallion to be worn at the Commencement. 
  • Completion of the Jane Stephens Honors Program requirements will be noted on their academic transcript. 

The program offers educational opportunities tailored to the needs and goals of students with outstanding intellectual and creative abilities. You’ll engage with personable faculty in courses designed to be interactive and challenging. The benefits go beyond the classroom. You’ll also meet other high-achieving students at social events and on educational field trips.

Admission Requirements

The requirements for International Honors Program students are similar to the requirements for students living in the United States. We will review your hours of college credit and cumulative grade point average.

To be admitted into the Jane Stephens Honors Program, International students must have at least 15 semester hours of college credit and at least a 3.5 cumulative college grade point average. If you meet the requirements and wish to apply, please fill out our application form.
