Deadline to apply for all scholarships is March 1st. Apply at Office of Student Financial Services.
Dr. F. Stanley Atchison Memorial. Open to Science majors with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Financial need is a determining factor.
Norman L. Braasch. Open to Biology majors with a minimum of 60 credit hours. Applicants must have a concentration in Zoology and have an overall 3.25 GPA and a 3.5 GPA in all completed zoology courses.
Cape County Area Medical Society Scholarship. First preference to major in pre-medicine. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25. Renewable.
Dr. William C. Critchlow. Open to Pre-Medicine students with a 2.5 or higher GPA and financial need. Preference will be given to applicants from Scott, Stoddard, Mississippi, Pemiscot, or New Madrid County.
Dr. Donald Froemsdorf College of Science and Mathematics. Open to students majoring in one of the disciplines within the College of Science and Mathematics. Academic merit is a primary consideration.
Betty Berry Glenn Science. Open to Science majors from Stoddard, Wayne, Bollinger, Carter, Butler, Ripley, Dunklin, Pemiscot, New Madrid, Mississippi, Scott, Cape Girardeau, Perry, Madison, Ste. Genevieve, or St. Francois County. Preference will be given to students with a minimum of 30 credit hours and a 2.5 GPA and to direct descendants of Betty (Berry) and John Glen. If related, applicant must state relationship on application. Financial need will be a consideration. The applicant cannot be a nontraditional student.
Michael A. Halwachs Memorial. Applicant must have a major that falls under the College of Science and Mathematics and a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA at Southeast Missouri State University.
John & Judith Holcomb Pre-Med Scholarship. Open to pre-med majors with 45 hours completed with a 3.2 GPA.
Mel Kohl, Jr. Science. Open to students pursuing a B.S. in the College of Science and Mathematics. Applicant must have a minimum of 30 hours and a 2.0 GPA. Financial need is a consideration.
Donald G. LaFerla Scholarship for Health Science. Open to students pursuing pre-professional degree in health sciences. Cumulative GPA of 3.5. Renewable.
Merit Award Endowed. Open to students with a minimum GPA of 2.0
J.C. and Dorothy S. Miller. Open to upper-class students majoring in Biological Sciences including Agriculture. Selection will be based on scholarship, leadership, and need.
James Harold Paullus Biological Sciences. Awarded to student with primary field of study in the biological sciences, who shows evidence of merit, need, and research ability. Preference given to students planning to do graduate work, majoring in entomology. First preference given to students from Wayne County or bordering counties in Missouri.
Brian M. Shamel Memorial. Open to students who are interested in pursuing the research and saving the bottle nosed dolphin. Scholarship fund can be used by applicants based on their financial need to help fund their trip to the research lab which helps meet the requirements for the marine biology degree.
Dr. John R. Sharp Memorial Scholarship. Open to Biology majors. Cumulative GPA of 3.0. Student must write a one-page essay describing what he/she hopes to do with a biology degree.
Albert J. Weis Memorial Science. Open to Science and Mathematics majors with a minimum of 42 credit hours completed and a 2.0 GPA. Applicant must have demonstrated financial need.
