Welcome to New Student Programs at Southeast!

Southeast Missouri State University offers orientation programs to help each student successfully navigate their path into and through the university. We know college is an exciting time in a student’s life and our orientation programs will assist students and their family members with this exciting transition. We understand your transition to college is changing. We're all learning new processes, and in true Southeast Missouri State fashion, at least we're learning them together.

The format and schedule of FirstSTEP and Transfer Orientation for 2021 enrollment will be announced soon. 

During this time, we're more committed than ever to helping you navigate college and stay on track to join us in the fall. We have a robust orientation process- and that won't change- because we want to promote your educational, career, professional and social deveopment while helping you understand your options and resources.

CampRedhawk

    CampRedhawk is a summer leadership camp designed for new students preparing to enter their first semester at Southeast Missouri State University. It will offer an introduction to campus life and traditions, immerse you in school spirit, and introduce you to other new Redhawks. You will become more familiar with campus and the community where you will spend the next four years.
