Preview all our Group Fitness classes for free these two weeks! TRX®, INSANITY®, Yoga Flow, Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Body Bar Combat and much more! We have many classes to choose from, so try them all and find your favorites. After these 2 weeks, a semester pass is $40.00 and you attend any class you want for the entire semester!
This is the time period to sign up for our incentive programs. Rowdy's "Rawk" Your Body Challenge, Move-It and Lose It, and IRONRedhawk are just to name a few. You can register for "Rawk" online at our website and sign up for the other two will be through the Rec Center.

Have you started using the Rec Center but don’t know where to start? Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness, Sara Wagganer is here to talk to you about what the Rec has to offer and how to go about getting started with your fitness program. Come to the SRC-North to challenge yourself, race your friends’ time, and have a ball in the Zorb Ball Course.

Do you ever feel lost in the weight room? Confused about the new equipment? Get the best bang for your buck and learn how to weight train properly and with more confidence. This class has a morning and afternoon option and is free of charge for SRC-Members and University employees.

This is a student-led discussions focusing on the qualities of both healthy and unhealthy relationships. Staff members from the Campus Violence Prevention Program and Safe House for Women will be in attendance to provide their expertise.
7:30pm, SRC-North, Group Fitness Studio
Who wouldn’t want to glow in the dark and do Zumba at the same time? Boogie away the night in this groovin’ good-time, dance-aerobic class. Dress in those bellbottoms or other 70’s attire to get a t-shirt and sign-up for some far out door prizes. This class is free of charge. Hope to see you there!

Interested in becoming a Personal Trainer through Rec Services? Sign up for this 6-week course to learn the skills to train and prepare for your certification! Only $25 for the 6-week class.
Don’t forget to pick up a schedule of events and attend this special week of celebrating our bodies and being aware of the dangers of disordered eating. Weight smashing, body image seminars, a recovery panel and a special presentation by a former supermodel are just a few events going on this week. A life-size Barbie and Ken will be on display.
Compete amongst your friends to see who is the fittest! Bench press, squat, push ups,flexibility, and plank are just a few of the contests. You must compete in at least three events to win a t-shirt and all event winners receive a prize.

During the health fair, please attend our Safe Sex discussion on how to keep yourself healthy and safe when engaging in sexual activity. This will be a student-led open discussion, but a nurse and sex educator from Planned Parenthood will be there to provide their expertise.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this discussion will focus on preventing sexual assault and dispelling the more common myths. We will also discuss how to ask for consent, and how to give it.

If you have been curious about completing a triathlon (swim, bike, run) here is your chance to try it out for FREE! This is a great opportunity for Southeast students to use the lap pool, indoor cycling bikes and indoor running track to become triathletes. Heats are every hour (6am, 7am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm) SRC-North

The perfect way to de-stress before finals! Stop by the UC for a free chair massage, mellow out in the oxygen bar or meditate in the relaxation lounge. This service is free for all students, faculty and staff.
9am; Bertling Intramural Field
This run and bike event is a great wat to blow off some stress before finals week! Participants may register for just the run, or complete the run & bike (bring your own bike and helmets are required). Or grab a friend and complete the biathlon as a team! Pre-registration is highly encouraged due to use of City streets. Register at the SRC-North.
